Welcome to the Ohio Recruiters Association!
If you’re an existing member, you’ll probably notice that things have changed! We’ve recently redeveloped our website to make it more user-friendly and informative.
If you have an existing account, you’ll want to update your profile information to get the most value out of your membership.
To access and manage your profile, click the sign-in/manage your account link in the upper right corner of any page.
Let’s get you logged in!
After you click the sign-in/manage my account link, you’ll get to the page shown to the left.
Select the “Need a password” option and enter the email address that you used to set up your membership on the old website.
Click the “Find my Account” button and you’ll receive an email shortly with a temporary password so that you can access and update your member profile.
We want you to get noticed!
We’ve updated our membership platform so that you will get more value out of your membership. If you look at the member directory, you’ll notice you can search by keyword, name, location, chapter, and even recruiting specialty.
How does this benefit you?
The membership directory is publicly available so that companies searching for a recruiter can find you. Visibility is important!
On the right, you’ll see a couple of search results. One of the profiles has been updated, and you can see a logo, company name, and recruiting keywords. The more you personalize your profile, the better chance you have in getting click-throughs and the better chance you have to get phone calls!
The second image shows a full profile view. When you update your profile, you’ll be able to add your logo, a profile picture, and some descriptive text. Since keyword searches are possible, use this opportunity to optimize your profile text for searches.
You’ll need to add your address and phone number, but don’t worry if you work from home–you have the option to hide your address from your public profile.
Your profile will allow you to add your social media links, like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., and you’ll be able to add labels to identify your recruiting specialties and the ORA Chapter you’re active in.
