About the Fieldbook
Purpose, limits, and independent identity.
Ohio Hiring Fieldbook is an independent publication about recruiting operations. It is for recruiters, hiring managers, people-operations teams, and other readers who want a search to be clear enough to run and review.
The publication does not operate a recruiting association, membership body, job board, staffing agency, certification program, or event chapter. It does not recruit candidates, represent employers, make hiring decisions, or provide legal advice.
Independent identity
This publication is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a continuation of the former Ohio Recruiters Association. It does not claim the former association’s members, board, chapters, sponsors, partnerships, programs, history, logo, or standing.
The domain’s archived history concerned a professional association for recruiters in Ohio. This new publication stays within the broad subject of recruiting practice, but it has a separate name, purpose, design, and editorial method. No archived article, event listing, membership statement, biography, image, or association claim has been copied.
What the fieldbook publishes
Each field note focuses on one working object: a search brief, evidence table, interview guide, candidate update, capacity board, or agency handoff. It names the decision, the record to keep, and the limit of the tool.
The work is practical but not a substitute for advice about a specific hiring decision, employment law, collective agreement, contract, or regulatory duty. Readers must check current rules and obtain qualified advice when the risk requires it.
