About This Former Association Join URL
An independent notice and a checklist for evaluating a current professional group.
This address was formerly a join page for the Ohio Recruiters Association. Ohio Hiring Fieldbook is not affiliated with that organization. It does not accept memberships, dues, applications, sponsorships, or chapter registrations. It does not confirm that the former association is active.
No information submitted to this site will enroll a person in an association. The checklist below is new, general guidance for reviewing a professional group that is active today.
Confirm the current operator
Identify the legal or organizational name, current contact, governing body, and official website. Confirm that the group controls the payment and registration process. A familiar domain, old logo, or third-party article is not enough to prove current operation.
Read the member promise
List what a member receives, what remains discretionary, the billing term, renewal method, cancellation process, and refund rule. Separate access to a community from a promise of clients, candidates, placements, certification, or employment. Ask how a material change will be communicated.
Review data and conduct rules
Recruiting groups can handle contact details, employer information, candidate discussions, event images, and referral information. Review the privacy notice, data owner, retention period, event-recording notice, and member conduct process. Do not share candidate or client information only because a room is described as professional.
Test the practical value
Choose the result you need before joining: peer learning, current training, local events, policy discussion, mentoring, or professional standards. Then verify that the current schedule, facilitators, and materials support that result. A historical partnership or old event page is not proof of present value.
This checklist is not a review of any specific current organization. It is a way to make an enrollment decision from current facts.
